In some fascinating news that had DCEU (DC Extended Universe) fans crying with joy was the major announcement of the Snyder Cut version of Justice League releasing next year on HBO Max. Whether it will be a four-hour-long movie or a mini-series of six chapters is yet to be decided. Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed that it has listened to fan demand and will release ‘The Snyder Cut’ of Justice League sometime next year. The project will be presented as either a four hour movie or in six episodic chunks on the new HBO Max streaming service. Snyder surprised fans with the news on Wednesday during a live online commentary of his film Man of Steel with Henry Cavill.

Man Of Steel is a reboot of the Superman film series that portrays the character's origin story. The prequel dates back to the time when Superman discovers his special powers. After Clark Kent learns he is a superpowered alien from the planet Krypton, he takes up the role of mankind's protector as Superman. Fighting against members of his own race he decides to face General Zod and prevent him from destroying the people of Earth. The superhero film is the first installment in the DC Extended Universe, directed by Zack Snyder and bankrolled by Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, and Deborah Snyder.

It is a day of celebrations for DC Extended Universe fans for Zack Snyder confirmed his version of Justice League is finally releasing. For two and a half years, fans of the filmmaker and the team who worked on the project - including Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Moma - demanded the Snyder Cut's release. With petitions urging Warner Bros to release the Snyder Cut, fans won the battle and the director's version is set to release in 2021. It is still isn't clear if the Justice League Snyder Cut will be released as a four-hour-long film or will be sliced into a mini-series.
