YouTube star Myka Stauffer has been accused of binding her autistic son's hands with duct tape to stop him sucking his thumb and for using his crowdfunded adoption to boost her followers.

Myka, who has more than 700 followers on the video-sharing site, has confessed she's "rehomed" her son Huxley just three years after adopting him from China.

She admitted she struggled to cope with caring for the youngster as he had "a lot more special needs that we were not aware of".

The social media star, 32, who is also mum to three biological kids, is now facing a ferocious backlash as her followers called her out for giving up on the little boy.
