David Marsden was a ‘kind-hearted, caring and beautiful’ 22-year-old, pursuing his career as a medical lab assistant at Stepping Hill Hospital.
But after a holiday which he believed triggered an intense bout of insomnia, David found his anxiety levels soaring, an inquest into his death heard on Monday (July 12).
Monday's hearing was the first of a five-day-long inquest at Stockport Coroner's Court. He became enveloped in a frightening depression, leaving him as an inpatient on a mental health ward in the hospital he worked at.
