Police officers in Manchester have sent a message to people going out during lockdown after dozens of people were spotted in a park.
Police in Eccles warned 'this is not what we mean by stay at home' as pictures emerged of a group of people in a local park congregating and drinking this weekend.
The gathering comes as officers across Greater Manchester have been trying to urge people to 'stay home and save lives', especially over the bank holiday weekend - which appears to have been lost on some still gathering together.
Groups have been spotted elsewhere in Manchester in recent days, including a gathering at Salford Quays on Friday where around 30 cars were seen ditched for a get-together on the waterfront.
