The incident happened in Ashworth Street just after 1.30pm today (January 8).Police and paramedics attended and found a 48-year-old woman with serious injuries.They are not believed to be life-threatening.Pictures taken earlier today showed a large emergency service presence at the scene.
A large police cordon was in place.Witnesses reported seeing an air ambulance land nearby. Initial enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made, a spokesman for GMP said.
