A woman has died after a fire ripped through a public toilet block in Ayrshire yesterday. Police have confirmed this morning that the woman passed away after emergency services were alerted to the blaze on Melbourne Road in Saltcoats on Monday morning.Mercy crews raced to toilet block but the woman could not be saved.Officers now say that the woman's death is not being treated as suspicious.A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "A woman has died following a fire at a building on Melbourne Road, Saltcoats on Monday, November 15."Enquiries are ongoing, however the death is not being treated as suspicious and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
