A murder investigation is underway following the death of a woman in what police have called a "brutal" attack in her Glasgow home.
Greater Glasgow Police say Jacqueline Grant, 54, was found dead in her flat in Maryhill on Tuesday evening. A post mortem has been carried out and her death is being treated as a murder, the force said in a statement.
Jacqueline's neighbours described the frightening moment dozens of police and forensic officers descended on the block of flats.
