Microsoft has begun rolling out Windows 11 as a free upgrade to PCs today, although not everyone can claim it just yet.Windows users will begin receiving notifications offering free upgrades from today onwards, with new devices being the first to receive the upgrade.Windows 11 promises a sleek new user interface, start screen, as well as light and dark modes.
It places the Start menu in the centre of the screen, much like a Mac, and adds a host of new remote working features. It also sees the addition of DirectX 12, which will add some exciting new graphics capabilities to your PC games.
Microsoft plans to offer Android apps on Windows 11, which means your PC will have greater sync capabilities with your Android device.
