Frank Lampard could be without Willian for Chelsea’s Champions League trip to Bayern Munich. The Brazilian forward is edging closer to a free transfer switch to London rivals Arsenal after turning down a new two-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
Willian, who is 32 on Sunday, missed the FA Cup final through injury and could sit out the trip to Munich with his mind also on the future after being offered a three-year deal at the Emirates.
That will only add to Lampard’s injury concerns with Christian Pulisic, Pedro and Cesar Azpilicueta already out while N’Golo Kante has given them a boost by training this week.
