Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed why he sometimes watches matches without commentary. Klopp has rightly been praised in recent years for making the Reds the best team in the world, winning the Champions League and Club World Cup, while taking his side within two wins of their first Premier League title.
The German coach has now explained where he takes some of his inspiration from, revealing that he is always watching matches.
The 52-year-old has the game on mute though, preferring not to hear the dulcet tones of Martin Tyler or whoever the commentator in question might be, as it allows him to focus more clearly on the match, like if he was at the ground. “I watch football games, a lot of times completely without commentary,”
