Disney fans have long been awaiting the release of its live-action Mulan remake, that is finally dropping in September. The upcoming film, based on the much-loved Disney animation, was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic, with its release being scrapped in the US and internationally back in March.It’s set to see Yifei Liu in the title role as Mulan, with reports revealing and estimated $200million (£159million) had been spent on bringing the film to life.
It was recently announced that Mulan will now premiere instead on new streaming platform Disney Plus, instead of the cinematic release it was initially scheduled to have.
