With case numbers, hospitalisations and deaths all on a downward slope, further restrictions are starting to be eased - and it looks like life could slowly be returning to normal.
From the end of March, the rule of six will return, allowing friends and family to socialise together outdoors for the first time in months.
Some businesses are then expected to get the go-ahead for reopening from April, with further openings scheduled for May. Ministers, however, have repeatedly stressed that all the dates given in its roadmap are subject to change, with reviews taking place at each stage.
