Retail behemoth Amazon is mid-way through its annual Prime Day bonanza - with discounts on thousands of lines in the run up to Black Friday.

The shopping giant said customers will be able to snap up savings on Alexa devices, kindles TVs and toys as part of the huge warehouse sale.

However, discounts will be reserved for Prime customers only - meaning those who sign up for £79 a year or register for Amazon's free trial.

But if you're taking advantage of the sale, how long do you have to pick up some savings? While it's technically called Prime 'Day', the sale actually runs for 48-hours globally.
