Phil Foden knew immediately that he was going to claim Manchester City's third goal at Brighton as they produced a superb first-half display in their 4-1 Premier League win.
Having seen Ilkay Gundogan put City ahead, despite Brighton's protests, Foden scored a second after Bernardo Silva and then Jack Grealish set them on a brilliant counter-attack.
Foden claimed the final touch, despite pressure from defender Dan Burn suggesting a possible own goal. Replays just about proved Foden got the final touch, and he got a fortunate second when Gabriel Jesus' effort deflected in off the youngster to make it 3-0 before the break.
