More than 6,500 people got their jab in a massive push to vaccinate residents in problem areas around Deane, Great Lever and Rumworth this weekend.

There were huge queues outside Essa Academy, where Bolton's mobile vaccine bus was located, and staff and volunteers have received national praise for their efforts.

Another walk-in clinic has now been set up at Quebec Hall, Deane, as Bolton's NHS CCG continues its push to try and vaccinate as many people as possible.
