Thomas Tuchel played down the significance of Manchester City's defeat to Crystal Palace in the Premier League title race, despite seeing Chelsea move five points clear of the Blues in the table.
City were poor against Palace, conceding twice either side of Aymeric Laporte's red card, and slipping to their second defeat of the season.
With Chelsea winning 3-0 at Newcastle, it meant that Tuchel's side opened up a five-point lead over defending champions City, and they were further boosted by Liverpool's draw at home to Brighton to sit three points clear at the top.
