From 4 July lockdown measures will be eased in England, allowing weddings and civil partnerships to take place. They have been banned under health and safety restrictions on large groups since 23 March, with a few exceptions depending on the size and location of the ceremony.
Under the new relaxed measures weddings of up to 30 people will be allowed to take place in England. In Wales and Scotland wedding ceremonies will also be able to take place, but large gatherings are not allowed.
