Wedding guru Franc has ‘big plans’ for his recently purchased Cork convent

reports that Franc is believed to have snapped up the convent last year, after selling off the holiday home in Courtmacsherry where he married his wife Eadaoin.‘I’m delighted that we have bought it,’ Franc told CorkBeo. ‘It’s such a beautiful, historic building in the most gorgeous location, I’ve known it for years and having so many connections with the area, it really is exciting for us,’ he said.The imposing premises was built in the early 1890s when the Bishop of Ross brought a small community of Mercy Sisters to the area.

It boasts sea views of Warren Strand and a host period features.Interestingly the convent wasn’t designed by an architect; instead, the plans were drawn up by Mother M.
