woman was killed after care home staff lowered her into a scolding hot bath without checking the temperature.Frances Norris, a vulnerable dementia patient aged 93, died of her severe burns after being lowered into the boiling bath at Birdsgrove care home, Bracknell.The Berkshire care home is now closed, MailOnline reported.Bosses have been fined more than £1 million after investigators found the water temperature was not properly checked.Mrs Norris suffered fatal burns to her legs and feet.And Thames Valley Police said there was a long delay before she was hospitalised, ultimately dying of her injuries while in care.Birdsgrove also strained to cover up their negligent behaviour, providing fake documents to cops investigating Mrs Norris's.
