Jake Bibby believes Wigan Warriors’ lack of firepower in attack this season can be attributed to the constant disruption around the spine of their team.
Wigan scored just 387 points in 25 Super League games this season under Adrian Lam and were dumped out of the play-offs at the first hurdle by Leeds Rhinos.
A dismal 8-0 home loss to Richard Agar’s side summed up the attacking shortcomings of the Warriors in a season which ended in bitter disappointment.
Yet Bibby has pointed to the constant injury problems they were forced to cope with in key positions, with players such as Jai Field and Zak Hardaker having lengthy spells on the sidelines and Bevan French missing almost the entire campaign.
