Virgin Media down with UK customers reporting extensive broadband outages

dailystar.co.ukVirgin Media is experiencing technical difficulties causing slow speeds and outages for internet users across the UK. The broadband provider is down in many different parts of the country, with complaints coming in from Surrey, Leeds, Cardiff and Edinburgh among other locations.
Users have taken to social media to vent about their slow internet speeds, with some saying their broadband has cut out altogether.
One user, Christopher O'Reilly, tweeted: "Looks like Virgin Media just went down for the whole of UK (judging by tweets) and Ireland (judging by the laptop with lost work I just hurled across the room)." "I was playing a game and started buffering till got kicked off.
