Tesco aisles were torn apart by customers desperate to get their hands on as much as possible in case they have to self-isolate over the coronavirus outbreak, a shopper claimed.
Michelle Davies said the North London branch was swamped with people eager to buy hoards of products, leaving destruction in their path.
Shoppers were pulling things off shelves and ripping open packaging in order to get the number of items they wanted, she added.
They were apparently filling trolleys with as much as they could, and taking multiple packs of products, leaving none left on the shelves.
