Russia’s republic of Sakha have held a the second bizarre annual cow beauty pageant as they search to crown the village’s best looking beast.Cows and bulls from across what was formerly Yakutia compete for the coveted honour.The annual bovine beauty pageant sees cows and bulls dressed up, donning makeup and fancy outfits, in a bid to impress judges.Traditional Russian costumes are chucked onto herds of beasts in the udderly bizarre annual competition.Bright makeup was painted onto some, with one white-hatted cow supposedly bearing a resemblance to Audrey Hepburn.Others were given jewellery and headwear as their owners tried to make them as beautiful as possible.One cow was even treated to rosy cheeked makeup and a striking pink and purple.
