'Very bubbly' hospital receptionist dies from Covid as heartbreaking tributes pour in

Tributes have been paid to a "very bubbly, very lovely" hospital receptionist who died after contracting Covid-19. Michelle Hart, who worked on Ward 408 at the Royal Derby Hospital, passed away on Friday, the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) said.

The "much loved colleague" had spent nearly two decades working for the trust - joining the Derby Royal Infirmary in 2007 before transferring to her most recent role at the new cardiology ward.

Paying tribute to Ms Hart, UHDB chief executive Gavin Boyle said: "Michelle was very bubbly, very lovely. She was always chatty, always helpful and always had a smile. "Michelle's role was to meet and welcome relatives to the ward, as well as supporting the team to stay
