An urgent police warning has been issued after homes were targeted in 'linked' burglaries in New Moston earlier this month. Officers from Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information following the reports of the two incidents, in which two motorbikes and four cars were stolen, on January 12.

Police were first called at around 4:30am, to reports that a car was taken from an address on The Links, with the property also burgled.

Four hours later, at around 8:30am, two motorbikes and three cars were stolen from an address on Greenways, with the property also burgled and various items taken.

An investigation into the two incidents is underway, with detectives currently believing the burglaries are linked. No arrests have been made.
