A school issued an 'urgent' warning to parents earlier this week following reports that a child had been followed, the M.E.N understands.
St Bede C of E Primary Academy, in Morris Green, issued the statement online following reports of 'suspicious activity' in the 'locality of the school site' on Monday (February 3).
The Manchester Evening News understands that police received a report of a student 'being followed' by a male. It was later deemed to have been a mental health-related incident.
The incident was reported on Monday afternoon, in the area around Morris Green Lane. It is not known whether the child was a student of the school.
