Emergency services have launched an urgent search for a teenage boy who went missing while diving off the English coast. 17-year-old Oscar Montgomery had been snorkeling off the coast of Portland, in Dorset, on Wednesday afternoon.
He was last seen near Church Ope Cove at about 5pm, according to Dorset Police. Chief Inspector Lance Cliff said: “We are extremely concerned for Oscar and I am appealing to anyone who may have knowledge as to his whereabouts to please contact police immediately.” Police officers have been carrying out searches, assisted by HM Coastguard, the RNLI, Dorset Search and Rescue and Dorset Police.
