Storm force winds of up to 83mph are battering Britain with snow, ice and heavy rain hitting the UK at once. Warnings are in place across almost all of the UK, including two "threat to life" flood notices, and families have labelled their Christmas a "write-off" after they were forced to evacuate due to rising water levels.
