Snow and ice will cause travel chaos on Monday morning after Storm Bella batters the UK today and tomorrow. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Northern Ireland, swathes of Scotland and northern England.
The warning is in place from 6pm tomorrow until 10am on Monday. The Met Office warns: "An area of rain, sleet and snow will move south through Sunday night with the potential for icy surfaces and some travel disruption." Today the UK faces Storm Bella which has triggered several weather warnings of its own, for wind and rain.
Winds of up to 70mph are expected in exposed coastal locations of the UK and further downpours are also due, with the Met Office adding 15-25mm is likely to fall in Wales and south-west England,
