Met Office has said that widespread snow is going to return on Monday, with millions of Brits facing several inches of the white stuff and sub-zero temperatures.Their forecast is supported by updated weather model maps, which show that almost the entire UK is in for an Arctic dumping next week.
In their outlook for Sunday to Tuesday (December 5 to 7) the Met Office warn that an "organised band of rain clears east Monday, preceded by snow".There will also be snow on Sunday, but "over higher ground", with rain showers "in the east initially".The full extent of Monday's wintry covering is highlighted by weather maps from WXCharts, which show a massive snow front engulfing the vast majority of the country.
