Heavy rain is to hit parts of the UK with the Met Office issuing a two day weather warning for downpours. After a miserable weekend for many that saw wet weather and winds of up to 60mph, the outlook for the first half of the week isn't much better.
The heavy showers are expected to sweep across areas of the UK on Monday afternoon and into the evening but the worst of the, are forecast for next two days.
Two yellow weather warnings for rain are in place for parts of Scotland, from midnight on Tuesday until 3pm on Wednesday. The Met Office says heavy and prolonged rain is expected, with risks of flooding and travel disruption.
