Britain is set to bask in 23C highs despite heavy rain - up to an inch could fall today - and large thunderstorms, as topsy-turvy June continues.
The Met Office is forecasting warm temperatures above average for the month in the week ahead but also plenty of unsettled weather - a far cry from the heat waves seen in spring.
The Environment Agency has put one flood warning in place in Newcastle-under-Lyme - but rain could strike anywhere.
