Pressure is growing on UK ministers to act over airport coronavirus tests and boost airlines as it emerges up to 30 other countries are already offering them so travellers do not have to quarantine.
Concerns are growing that Britain's failure to follow suit is killing the country's travel industry and international trade, with the likes of Germany, France, Austria, Dubai and Iceland having already implemented effective border protocols.
The majority have ushered in systems where a negative test will either mean an individual will not need to isolate or at least reduce the length of time they must quarantine.
