UEFA have extended Aaron Wan-Bissaka's Champions League suspension after he received a red card against BSC Young Boys. United took the lead in their Champions League campaign opener against BSC Young Boys earlier this month thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, however, the game's momentum shifted into the host's favour after Wan-Bissaka received his marching orders.
That red card meant Wan-Bissaka is suspended for United's game against Villarreal, but UEFA have now extended the ban. It was announced on Wednesday that UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body have decided to extend Wan-Bissaka's suspension for yet another Champions League fixture after United's match versus Villarreal 'for rough play' against BSC Young Boys.
