Daily Star's biggest headlines straight to your inbox!A man has been charged over £800 for a five-mile Uber trip across London.The Uber app showed that Matthew Cook, a 32-year-old recruiter from New Cross, apparently made a 227 mile journey to Manchester yesterday morning (September 30).Although he'd been dropped off in Manchester at 6.57a.m according to the app, Matthew woke up in his London home.His eye-watering bill came to £830.91.Matthew had been staying in Manchester last weekend, and "must have obviously clicked" the Manchester address before he got in the Uber.However, the driver asked him where he wanted dropping off and took him to his London address.Now, Uber are making him pay the full amount.
