In a true blast from the past on Tuesday (May 2nd) Eastenders icon Dean Gaffney returned to the I’m a Celebrity jungle, 17 years after originally appearing on the show back in 2006. The 45 year old star first appeared on the Aussie edition of the show alongside the likes of Busted ’s Matt Willis and Hear’Say singer Myleene Klass, but sadly failed to secure the jungle crown after coming fifth in the competition.

Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney have revealed they both have the very sweet same reason for re-entering the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. On Tuesday night, former EastEnders actors Joe and Dean will enter the South African camp alongside other famous faces including fellow soap stars Helen Flanagan and Andy Whyment.

Dean Gaffney is on celebrity dating app Raya. The 'EastEnders' star has reportedly taken to the app for famous people in a bid to find love after trying his luck on the likes of Bumble and Tinder without success.
