Firefighters were called to the fire in Montford Street, in Ordsall, at about 4.10am on Thursday morning (April 22). Dramatic footage of the blaze was captured by residents living close to the scene.
Fire crews were able to bring the flames under control, although both vehicles were left badly damaged. A police cordon was in place on the street on Thursday morning as forensics officers examined the vehicles, according to residents.
