Full inquest into death of man found dead on golf course to be held next year
A full inquest into the death of a man found dead at a golf course in Altrincham will be held next year.Stephen Thurm died at Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club on February 5.A pre-inquest review was held in relation to the death of the 32-year-old at Stockport Coroner's Court today (Wednesday).Coroner Chris Murray set out a timetable for the inquest into Mr Thurm's death.Submissions for a 'root cause analysis report' have been made.He told the court: "One of the issues I need to tend to is whether it's an article 2 type inquest."Article 2 inquests are enhanced inquests held in cases where the state or 'its agents' have 'failed to protect the deceased against a human threat or other risk' or where there has been a death in custody',
