Sign up today for the best stories straight to your inboxSix people have drowned and six more are feared dead after a tragic boating accident on a popular lake in Pakistan.A wooden boat containing 12 passengers, all from the same family, overturned on Keenjhar Lake on Monday afternoon.The passengers included men, women and children, according to local reports.Six bodies have been recovered from the water, including that of a baby, and have been transported to the Civil Hospital in Thatta.
A desperate rescue operation is currently underway by locals to find the remaining missing people.It's feared all have drowned in the lake, which is almost eight metres deep in some places.
