Hamilton Accies star Vic Wardrop, who passed away last month aged 74. Wardrop, who lived in Hamilton, played as a wing-half with the Douglas Park club for two years from 1966 to 1968, having signed from Lesmahagow.
He was released in 1968 and returned to the junior game with Larkhall Thistle, and later Stonehouse Violet in 1970.
