Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has claimed Trent Alexander-Arnold has "shut-up a few" critics after the Reds' lacklustre display against rivals Everton with a set-piece goal against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool struggled to find their cutting edge against the Toffees on Sunday, having just three shots on target but they looked back to their best against Palace.Alexander-Arnold has become something of a dead ball specialist and he found the top right-hand corner of Wayne Hennessey's goal with a free-kick in the 23rd minute to hand Jurgen Klopp's men the lead.Speaking on co-commentary for Sky Sports, Carragher compared Alexander-Arnold to David Beckham and claimed the strike would "shut up" those who were critical of his free-kicks against.
