But they certainly get people talking. This January's transfer merry-go-round involves both Arsenal and Liverpool and sees the Gunners potentially offload some deadwood and the Reds make a new signing.
Liverpool are in the market for a new centre-back, and were previously linked with Gunners defender Shkodran Mustafi. But the Reds have turned their attention to a whole host of other players including Ben Davies, Duje Caleta-Car, and Ozan Kabak.
