body was discovered stuck halfway in the bin just after 7am in the Stockland Burleigh Head suburb on the Gold Coast of Australia on Monday, April 5.Queensland Police quickly ruled out any suspicious circumstances and the woman's death was likely a case of "misadventure," the force said.
Superintendent Rhys Wildman said it appears as though the woman attempted to either remove or put in some items from the bin and was "caught" in the mechanism of the door.
He urged people to be careful of the bins as they’re designed with a "one-way" system in mind.Police found the woman's car parked just next to the bin, which was full of items she had hoped to donate to charity.
