Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA woman has died after falling from a notorious Snowdonia peak. The woman was found after a search for her missing Collie cross dog, North Wales Live reports.
She fell on Sunday (December 19) from the infamous knife-edge Crib Goch ridge which leads onto Snowdon. Rescuers were alerted by her partner and others on the peak who heard shouting. READ MORE: Man found dead on street in Hyde A coastguard rescue helicopter from Caernarfon and Llanberis mountain rescuers were also called out.
The mountain rescue volunteers escorted the woman’s partner back down to safety. Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team had been looking for the missing black and tan dog which has since been found.
