The 27-year-old singer spoke with US Weekly, revealing that just speaking up on social media wasn’t enough for her and after the first day she attended a protest, she came back for more. “I was just seeing everything that was happening, and posting on Instagram just didn’t feel like enough,” she shared. “I felt like, ‘What could I do to actually, physically put myself into this narrative?’ And so I went down, and that was the first day of protest.
