Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Carole Baskin's missing husband's will was "100 per cent a forgery", according to a sheriff in Florida. As depicted in Tiger King, Don Lewis mysteriously disappeared in 1997 and was declared dead five years later, with Carole inheriting all his money.

Her rival Joe Exotic, who is in prison after hiring a hitman to kill Carole, suspects she had something to do with his disappearance, which she has always denied.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said on Tuesday that two different experts have said Don's will is forged. Chronister told CBS station WTSP: "We knew that before because the girl who came forward and said 'Hey, I was forced to witness and say that I witnessed this signature.'
