Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

etcanada.comThe man responsible for the music of “Tiger King” has just scored a new record deal. Vince Johnson’s songs from the Netflix series will be turned into an album, as part of his deal with BMG Rights Management and Create Music Group.
Johnson originally became involved with “Tiger King” after responding to an ad by Joe Exotic. The big-cat breeder wanted someone to write a theme song for his zoo.
Johnson was behind viral songs featured in the series, such as “I Saw a Tiger” and “Here Kitty Kitty”.
