Daily Star's biggest headlines straight to your inbox!A three-month-old girl has died and her mother left in a critical condition after a hit and run.The driver of a 2017 silver Honda Civic was driving in the wrong direction down a Brooklyn street in New York, the US, when it crashed into a black 2020 Honda Civic, injuring the 49-year-old driver.

The impact pushed both cars onto the pavement, where they crashed into the 32-year-old mother and her baby being pushed in a pram on Saturday, September 11, the New York Post reports.A 39-year-old man was also injured and hospitalised, according to the New York Police Department.Photos taken at the scene of the crash showed the two smashed Honda Civic cars and the pram which the three-month-old is.
