Three arrested after violent attack by armed men at Asda in Motherwell

Motherwell.A group of armed men with weapons were spotted in the area of Watson Street and one man was attacked.Police rushed to the scene and two men were later traced and arrested at a nearby house.

A third man was traced at another address and was found to have suffered serious injuries.He was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment and his injuries.His injuries are not life threatening.During the police investigation a number of weapons were seized.Two men, aged 52 and 29, were due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today in connection with a serious assault, assault, disorder and possession of weapons.A 48-year-old man has also been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to assault, disorder and possession of an.
