Benjamin Pavard has told Bayern Munich he wants to leave for Inter Milan despite being linked with Manchester United. The Frenchman had been tentatively tipped for an Old Trafford switch should a defender, namely Harry Maguire, leave.
Pavard can play at both right-back and centre-back. With Milan Skriniar leaving Inter this summer, the Italians should be able to offer him more game time.
Pavard was left out of the Bayern squad that beat Augsburg 3-1 on Sunday, with Tuchel putting this down to the player having “some problems”.
Speaking to DAZN before kick-off, the German coach revealed that Pavard has made his mind up over his Bayern future.
